The Project

More than 2,000 people have climbed Mount Everest.
More than 200 people have crossed an ocean in a rowing boat.
Just nine people have crossed the Pacific in a rowing boat.
No-one has ever done that without any support at all.

The goal of the ZEEMAN OCEAN CHALLENGE is to cross the Pacific Ocean at its widest point - solo. The 16,000-kilometer crossing will not make use of any motorised or wind-related power. This extreme challenge will take between 7 and 9 months to complete and will be non-stop, without re-supplies or any other support.

Thank Ralph by supporting him in his charitable work

The Zeeman Ocean Challenge is drawing to a close. It’s not quite over yet, but Ralph has left the ocean and now wants to start ‘counting his money’. No, not his own money of course, but the amount he’s raised by rowing for the children’s home in Mumbai. So, readers of this site, grab your wallets, get a transfer card and bank envelope from the drawer, log into your online banking or just surf to our PayPal payment site and give generously so Ralph can have a second success: a generous donation to the project he’s been rowing for – the children’s home in Mumbai.

We have listed the account numbers and payment methods for all countries here.
